Golfers writing about golf are writing how-to manuals and stroke guides, not elegant, navel-gazing memoirs. Golf doesn't have to its name the pantheon of literature associated especially with baseball or even American football because not only is it a professional sport, but it's also an amateur's participatory obsession. ![]()
